There is no more important issue within the Church, than Christian growth. Christian growth determines how the Gospel is applied to our social situations (1 Peter 2:1-3). Christian growth develops our concepts of evangelism either as a method of winning souls to Christ (Matt 28:19) or of social activism (Matt 25:40). Christian growth influences our opinions on morality (Acts 15:29; 2 Tim 3:1-9) or lack thereof. Christian growth informs our understanding of what Eternal life is and how that Life influences and affects the way we live in Community.

It is important to have a Biblical view—a vision—(Proverbs 29:11) of Church growth. It is essential to have an understanding of how to GROW UP CHURCH. It is important to know what is meant by the statement “causing the church to grow.” In these lessons we engage in discussions and the interchange of ideas with respect to the “CONCEPTS AND THE IMPACT OF CHURCH GROWTH” upon the individual, the Church and the Community.
